Glad Tidings Tabernacle is seeking a bi-vocational pastor who feels called to serve in a close-knit church community in Red Lake, Ontario — a scenic and strategic hub in Northwestern Ontario.

Red Lake is a unique and beautiful place, nestled in the heart of the Canadian Shield. Surrounded by pristine lakes and vast forests, the area is rich with opportunity for fishing, hiking, boating, hunting, snowmobiling, and other outdoor pursuits. As the central community serving the surrounding northern, eastern, and western regions, Red Lake plays a vital role in its wider area.

About the Church:

Sunday Attendance: Approximately 6-10 people

Governance: Led by a faithful and supportive Deacon Board

Facilities: A functional church building ready for continued ministry and outreach

Ministry Style: Welcoming, community-oriented, and rooted in biblical teaching

We are looking for a pastor who:

Has a heart for serving in a smaller, relational congregation

Can teach and preach the Word of God with clarity and conviction

Understands and embraces bi-vocational ministry, and is willing to invest long-term

Desires to help people grow spiritually and reach out missionally in the community

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who values gospel-centered ministry in a northern context, loves the outdoors, and wants to make a meaningful impact.
