Who We Are: The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) has been active in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario since the early 20th century, emerging from the Pentecostal revival across North America. In 1928, the Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario District was formed, marking a Canadian expression of Pentecostal faith.

Over the decades, the district has grown through vibrant churches in Winnipeg, Brandon and many rural areas while expanding its reach through youth ministries, multicultural congregations, and Indigenous outreach.

A key milestone was the establishment of the Manhattan Beach Retreat Centre in 1939, a 100-acre camp on Pelican Lake near Ninette, Manitoba. It has served as a spiritual home for generations through its family, youth, and senior camps focused on revival and fellowship.

Today, the PAOC in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario, continues to thrive, rooted in Spirit-led worship, community engagement, and a commitment to sharing the gospel across cultures and generations.

Our vision is to foster healthy leaders and healthy churches throughout the Manitoba - Northwest Ontario District!

Camps are a part of our Pentecostal history and continued liturgy. Join us this summer at Manhattan Beach!
