Wildfire Relief Appeal – Let’s Be the Church in Action
The Scriptures remind us that “pure religion” is to care for those in distress. Right now, that call is urgent and real. Across our province and neighbouring regions, wildfires are displacing families, communities, and even some of our own churches and credential holders. This tragedy hits close to home.
As governments and emergency services work tirelessly to respond, we believe the Church is called to step in with compassion and action. Here’s how you can help today:
✅ What You Can Do
Pray—and keep praying. Lift up those affected, the first responders, and those coordinating relief.
Volunteer with the https://www.redcross.ca/in-your-community/manitoba to support relief efforts on the ground.
Give generously through the PAOC MBNWO District to provide immediate relief—lodging, food, transportation, and other urgent needs.
All donations will be earmarked specifically for wildfire relief and distributed accordingly.
