District Superintendent

Dear Friends,
Isn't it true that as we move through the various decades of life, we go from wanting to be attractive, successful, to having a life of significance, to perhaps wanting to be a positive influence, and as the years go by, to be remembered for doing good.
I think most people have these things in common.
Something we ought to have in common is a shared vision of living Missionally. I am beginning to share my vision for every Pastor, leader and church attendant to reach and disciple 10 people in the next 10 years. If we do this and encourage each one that is reached to win at least one more, we will have reached 150,000 by 2020. Why would we make such a bold challenge? Because we must; it is the least we can do. It is our commission from the Lord, to go and "make Disciples".
At the time of writing we as a District team are involved in the Northern Camp and MBRC. Travels have also taken us to Boissevain, Neepawa, Living Gospel Church in Winnipeg, Ignace, Dryden and General Executive meetings in Mississauga.
Gilbert Plains celebrates 85 years of ministry in July. Congratulations to Pastor Ron and Ann Hagglund and the congregation.
Please continue to pray for one another as well as those serving our District who have significant health issues.
Have a Blessed Summer!
